Established in 1973 in Monroe, New York, the “Greenery” was a store dedicated to selling green plants for the home. At that time, it was all about clean and fresh living, bringing an organic feel into the home. Years later, the Greenery introduced fresh flowers, becoming the “Greenery Plus Flowers.” As the flower business bloomed, they decided to shorten the name to “Greenery Plus Florist,” focusing on everyday floral occasions, weddings, and events.
In 1996, I purchased the floral business because of my love for creating beauty with flowers. Part of my joy from flower arrangements is discovering new ways to give an overall expression, but still continue to engage with subtle details of the arrangements. I enjoy the close interaction and personal relationships that I have formed with our clients throughout the years. Today, Greenery Plus Florist is an event design company coupled with a brick-and-mortar storefront, which affords our brides and grooms better choices and flexibility with flower types, colors, and textures.
